I'm currently in Paris for the next two months to study Patisserie at a cooking school here, but before I start with the posts I have lined up from Paris I want to share one of the last restaurants I went to before I left Vienna. Mole West is about an hour from Vienna by car, but it feels like a completely different world. Everyrthing seems much slower and more relaxed and it was so refreshing to spend the day by the lake with Nicola and Monny, two of my dearest friends from high school.
We started out with Mole West tapas, which included grilled Haloumi, chicken nuggets, hummus and crispy prawns.
Couscous salad with avocado and cashews.
Followed by their so-called "Stäbchenfish" - elegantly translated to: fish on sticks, including salmon, tuna, prawns and scallops.
And Parmesan Mushroom Risotto, which was my personal favorite.
Washed down with blueberry cake, iced coffe and subsequently burned off by pedal boating on the lake afterwards.
If you're looking for a different kind of afternoon or an escape from Vienna for a day during the summer, find them here:
