After half a day in San Francisco, we hopped in a car and drove down Highway 1 through Monterey, Carmel and Big Sur. It felt so surreal to finally be able to drive down this famous highway and see the beautiful coastline.
My sweet Elena called and her first words were: 'Uhoh you sound terrible make sure you are ready on Saturday to come celebrate my birthday, you must come and yes!
