I know it's been about half a lifetime since my last proper restaurant post, but with less hours of daylight and so much travling it's been incredibly difficult to get good quality photos done. The lovely people over at the Back Room at the new Park Hyatt on 57th invited me over for a tasting of their new lunch menu. I grabbed my friend, visiting from London, and we worked our way through the menu. I think their take on the kale ceasar salad was my favorite dish, especially seeing as it was topped with a breaded poached egg. I mean, what's not to love? The only thing I didn't love were the eclairs which looked a lot prettier than they tasted. Overall, definitely give them a try if you find yourself in Midtown, the mains are delicious and the service is impeccable.
