The Peak Hong kong

Bad wifi makes a bad blogger. Or something along those lines, because in reality even with good wifi I haven't had much time to create posts. If you've been following along on instagram, you'll already know that I'm in Hong Kong for the next few weeks. After about 20 hours of traveling and a layover in Dubai complete with an obligatory Ben's Cookie, I arrived late at night in Hong Kong and more or less immediately fell asleep. The next day I started out with a traditional Chinese Tea at Luk Yu Teahouse, including dim sum, barbecue pork buns and thousand year egg rolls of course. I really love Hong Kong already and have loved trying out my new camera (the Sony alpha 7 II) crossing all the foot bridges in Hong Kong. Having a native show you around a new city makes all the difference, so I tasked Kevin with finding the old, traditional parts of Hong Kong, which I hadn't seen so far. We finished our day watching sunset at The Peak, which is breathtaking and definitely worth the heavy abundance of tourists up there (but if you hate lines as much as I do, just take a cab up there and it's more or less the same experience). I've also been working on my new year's resolution to become a more adventurous eater while here. What are your New Year's resolutions?
