Remember that healthy lunch I had at The Butcher's Daughter on Monday? Well this is where I headed immediately to get my sweet fix. Morgenstern's is a Lower East Side staple with an impeccable selection of ice cream flavors. While Kevin and I were there, waiting for the store to empty out to get pictures of the interior (isn't it so cute and nostalgic? ), we had the chance to meet the incredibly friendly staff and listen to extensive explanations regarding the process of creating each of the flavors. I love going to places that are passionate about the food they are creating. My favorite flavors so far are salted chocolate, black strap rum, burnt honey and caramel coffee. Don't forget to bring cash, they're cash only!
