Rutabaga Restaurant Brussels

After finishing my course in Paris and (proudly) receiving my certificate I hopped on the train to Brussels and went to see my friend Emma from New York. She showed me around the city and took me to the Magritte Museum and the other main sites, of which I'll be sharing pictures tomorrow. First, I want to focus on the food, obviously. After having eaten our fair share of Belgian French Fries the day before we opted for a slightly healthier, yet equally delicious lunch at Rutabaga. The interiors are gorgeous and we ordered a smathering of salads and pita bread with some of the best hummus ever. Carrot salad, fried cauliflower, egg plant salad, fennel and cucumber tomoato salad just to name a few, all washed down with lemon iced tea.
