The former hall for the customers of the bank is now transformed into an amazing open-view kitchen and restaurant
We think:
Vienna is enriched by the new Park Hyatt and The Bank is absolutely worth a visit. The food was great, the chefs seemed relaxed and they created so effortlessly our dishes - impressive ! The interior design is very tasteful and the chefs table with its presence between the two areas of the open-view kitchen a must in the near future to book with friends! Just look at the marble wall and its impressive height behind it!
Cost seemed not to be an issue for the renovation and adaption.
Finally Vienna has an Oak Room Bar with a smoking area and the Emporer Kaiser Franz Josef watching over it.
We were invited to the Opening of The Park Hyatt this week during fashion night and saw the rehearsal for the Vivienne Westwood show.
We found one thing we want to put a question mark on:
The side entrance of The Bank from the Bognergasse with its low ceiling and blue painted walls stands in contrast to the grandeur of The Pearl and The Bank Restaurant.
