On one of my first nights in Paris my friend Helena (who knows the ways of the town because she grew up here) took Aya and me to one of the tiniest Italian places in the 6th. Tucked away in a side street near the Bon Marche is Cherche Midi, aptly named after the street it's located on. Cherche Midi has extremely simple, classic and plain delicious food that I'll try to have again sometime soon.
This bread doesn't look like much here, but I'm fairly certain we ordered at least 4 helpings of it bc we were obsessed with the tiny pieces of olive foaccacia.
One of the most creamy mozzarella I have ever had.
Simple rucola and paremesan salad.
The most amazing tomato ricotta ravioli.
Pumpkin ravioli with spring veggies.
And beef carpaccio with rucola and parmesan for me.
Find them in this small side street and be sure to eat outside, Parisian style:
