Back in Vienna I enjoyed a few lovely days of the wonderful spring weather. I went on a lunch date with my mom and I can't even explain how lovely the 20 degree weather felt after having survived the horrors of the polar vortex and the ongoing New York City winter.
We ate outside for the first time this year, at Cafe Francais.
I had my favorite, Salad Cafe Francais, with chicken, avocado, mango and honey mustard dressing.
While my mom had the slightly less healthy salmon quiche. (It rarely happens that I make a more healthy choice for my meal, so I had to call her out on it of course).
Then we went for a walk through the park to see the new cherry blossoms and have some obligatory gelato.
