Last weekend I finally made it out to Smorgasburg in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Needless to say, despite the scorching heat and complete absence of shade I definitely wasn't disappointed by the many food options. We started out with lemonades and then proceeded to eat our way through the rest of the food stands. We shared ramen burgers (a bit overhyped if you ask me), crispy pork pancakes (my personal favorite), peanut noodles, chicken wings, cheese and bacon cornbread, and finishing everything off with one of my favorite ice cream sandwiches ever, as salted chocolated chip caramel cookie combination.
There are two locations on Saturdays and Sundays every weekend and in the winters they have an inside option, but I have to admit that I really love this waterfront location in the Brooklyn Bridge Park.
