The High Line is an elevated freight rail line transformed into a public park on Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District - last photo on the post - to West 34th Street, between 10th and 12th Avenues and is 2,5 km long.
One of the things I really miss in New York is the abundance of places where you actually enjoy eating outside. Don't get me wrong, a lot of places have outside seating, but I don't particularly enjoy sitting on an extremely noisy and dirty avenue even if the food is amazing.
